Over the years, Shadow Work has operated through a range of spaces, programs, exhibitions, and events centered around photography and visual culture. Each project emerged from a different context, yet all share a commitment to learning, creative practice, community, and the development of new ways of engaging with photography.
SHADOW WORK SALON
2024-2026
An independent space for photography and visual culture, developed in collaboration with HaNevi’im School, Eretz-Ir, and Rea House of Photography.
The Salon combined a photography shop, workspace, studio, gallery, and cultural venue. Through exhibitions, workshops, screenings, and public events, it created a meeting point for photography, art, and community.
FORMAT
A platform for events and exhibitions bringing together photography, art, music, and local culture.
Each edition creates a temporary space for experimentation, exchange, and public engagement through exhibitions, music, video, and performance. Over the years, FORMAT has brought together independent cultural initiatives, local artists, musicians, and organizations, fostering new connections across creative disciplines.
PYRAMID DARKROOM
2024-2026
An analog photography and darkroom program operating at Pyramid Arts Center in collaboration with the Municipality of Haifa and Beit HaGefen.
The program offered workshops, open work sessions, exhibitions, and community projects centered around darkroom practice, material processes, and photographic experimentation
